Caller ID will automatically display on your call information display on your phone or external call ID box.

Toll-Free Number Block

What is it?

Prevent Toll-Free Numbers from being dialed from your ITP line.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. By clicking Edit in the Outbound Control field, you can toggle this setting.

Star Codes

What is it?

Use simple codes on your ITP telephone to manage your features, such as *67, *69 and many more.

Simply dial the desired star code. Click here to view a list of all available codes.

Caller ID Block

What is it?

When privacy is in order, you have the option of blocking your caller ID when making phone calls.

To manage Caller ID Block for all calls:

  • You can log into your account and toggle on/off Caller ID Block, found on the top of your control panel.
    OR
  • Dial *81 from your phone to activate Caller ID Block for all calls.
  • Dial *68 to deactivate Caller ID Block for all calls.

To manage Caller ID block for a single call:

  • If Caller ID Block is turned off:
    Dial *67 plus the phone number to activate caller ID Block for one call. (ex. *6712125551212)
  • If Caller ID Block is turned on:
    Dial *82 plus the phone number to deactivate caller ID Block for one call. (ex. *8212125551212)

International Call Block

What is it?

Don’t want anyone dialing internationally from your ITP line? Block it!

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. By clicking Edit in the Outbound Control field, you can toggle this setting.

411 Directory Assistance

What is it?

Your direct line to phone numbers, restaurants, plumbers and so much more.

Instructions

Simply dial 411 from your ITP phone. (Please note: additional charges may apply when using this feature)

Call Waiting

What is it?

Call Waiting allows you to accept an incoming phone call while you are already on the phone.

Here's how it works:

  1. While you are on the phone, you will hear a beep indicating an incoming call.
  2. To answer the incoming call, press the telephone switch-hook or flash button to answer the incoming call.
  3. To return to your first caller, press the switch-hook or flash button again.

How to manage your Call Waiting Feature


To activate Call Waiting, log into your account and toggle on/off Call Waiting, found on the top of your control panel.

You can also manage the Call Waiting feature from your phone. Here's how:

To manage Call Waiting for a single call:


Turn OFF Call Waiting Per Call

Dial *70 then the number.

To turn Call Waiting back on, hang up the phone.

Turn ON Call Waiting Per Call

Dial *71 then the number.

To turn Call Waiting back off, hang up the phone.

To manage Call Waiting for all calls:


Turn OFF Call Waiting For All Calls

Dial *57 and hang up.

Turn ON Call Waiting For All Calls

Dial *56 and hang up.

NOTE: CHANGES TO CALL WAITING THAT AFFECT ALL CALLS, MAY TAKE UP TO 15 MINUTES TO APPLY.

Anonymous Call Rejection

What is it?

Say goodbye to "Restricted" and "Anonymous" calls. With ITP Call Rejection, you can prevent private callers from reaching you 2 ways:

1. You can log into your account and toggle on/off Anonymous Call Rejection, found on the top of your control panel.

   or

2. You can dial *77 from your phone to activate Anonymous Call Rejection and dial *87 to deactivate Anonymous Call Rejection.

3-Way Calling

What is it?

Connect two parties onto the same call so that all three of you can talk at the same time.

Instructions

  • Establish a call with the first party
  • Press the telephone switch-hook or flash button to get a second dial tone
  • Dial the telephone number of the second party
  • Once the second party is connected, press the telephone switch-hook or flash button to conference all parties together
Call Waiting/Caller ID

What is it?

Much like Caller ID, ITP will display the name and phone number of someone calling you even when you’re already on the line.

Caller ID will automatically display on your call information display on your phone or external call ID box.

Call Hunt

What is it?

With a 2 line plan with ITP, you can have your phone calls automatically roll over to the second line by activating your Call Hunt feature. For example, you are currently on your Line 1. With Call Hunt active, should someone call that line, the call will bounce to Line 2.

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. You can toggle the Call Hunt feature from that screen.

In-Network Calls

What is it?

Talk for free with friends and family who use ITP. Any calls placed to an ITP phone number will not be charged and will not count against your monthly minutes.

Simply login into your account to view your online call records.

Voicemail

All of ITP's calling plans come with free voicemail.

To Setup Voicemail

  1. Dial 123# from your phone to access the voicemail box. 
  2. You will be prompted to enter a password. The default password is 1234. 
  3. Follow the simple instructions.

How do I know that I have a new voicemail?

  • You will hear a stutter dial tone when you pick up your phone. (If your phone supports it, the message light indicator will blink on the phone.) 
  • You can have the voicemail sent to your email. 
  • You can have a text sent to your cell phone.

Call Forwarding

What is it?

Call Forwarding

Not Home?  Have all your calls forwarded to another line.

To setup "Call Forwarding":

  1. Simply log into your account and select Edit under the FORWARD control panel. 
  2. Select "Direct Forward" as the Forwarding Type. 
  3. Select "Instantly Forward To" and Type the number you would like your calls forwarded to. (ie. Cell phone). 
  4. Click Save.

Emergency Calling Service

Emergency Calling Services (E911)


Dial 911 from your ITP line in an emergency. (Medical, Fire, Police)

To register your address for E911,  log into your ITP account and click 'Edit' from the E911 control panel. Update your address and click 'Save'.

 

NOTE: Remember to update your E911 address, if your address changes.

If you dial 911 and you are unable to verbally communicate, the emergency response team will be dispatched to the address you entered.

Voicemail To Email/Text

What is it?

Never miss an important message with ITP’s Voicemail Notifications. We can alert you by email, text message or both.

Instructions

  1. Log into your account. 
  2. Select the line you wish to manage and click "Edit Voicemail" found in your control panel. 
  3. Enter your email address. 
  4. If you're setting up text message notification, enter your cell phone number and select your cellular provider from the drop down list.
Advanced Call Forwarding

What is it?

Much like Call Forwarding, ITP’s Advanced settings will allow you to forward your ITP line to another number based on time of day. For example, have your home phone ring to your office line when you’re at work so you never miss a phone call.

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. Click Edit in the Forwarding field then click on Advanced Schedule to setup.

Universal Number

What is it?

Whether you want a domestic U.S. or International number, the choice is yours!

Instructions

During sign-up for your calling plan you will be prompted to pick the area code or country you would like your phone number to be in.

Remote Voicemail Access

What is it?

Need to check your Voicemail on the go? No problem!

From any phone:

  1. Dial your phone number from any phone. 
  2. When your voicemail greeting begins to play (Hello, you've reached….), press the * key. 
  3. You will then be prompted to enter your pin number.

From the web:

  1. Log into your account and click on "Message Center" found in your control panel. 
  2. You will have the option of listening and deleting your messages.

From your email:

  1. Your voicemail will be sent to the email address you setup in the control panel. 
  2. To hear your messages, click on the attached .wav file in the email.
Follow Me

What is it?

Don't want to miss that important phone call? Set your phone to "Follow Me" and have up to 3 lines attempt to reach you one line at a time.

To setup "Follow Me":

1. Simply log into your account and select Edit under the FORWARD control panel.

2. Select "Follow Me" as the Forwarding Type.

3. Enter up to 3 phone numbers.

4. Set how many rings you would like each number to ring before it jumps to the next line.

Online Account Management

What is it?

Manage your call features online or by phone, quickly and easily. ITP allows it customers to login to our advanced control panel and view and change all your phone's settings with just a click.

Missed Call To Text

What is it?

With ITP’s advanced alerts, you no longer have to worry about missing a phone call – we’ll send you a text message with the caller’s number, date and time.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. By clicking Edit in the Voicemail field, you can toggle this setting.

Simultaneous Ring/Find Me

What is it?

Don't want to miss that important phone call? Set your phone to "Simultaneous ring/ Find me" and have up to 3 lines ring at the same time.

To setup "Simultaneous ring/ Find me":

1. Simply log into your account and select Edit under the FORWARD control panel.

2. Select "Simultaneous ring/ Find me" as the Forwarding Type.

3. Enter up to 3 phone numbers.

When someone calls your phone, all the lines you set will ring at the same time.

App Management

App Management

Need to forward your ITP phone line or check a balance on your account from the road? With ITP, you can manage with your account using just a fingertip.

Do Not Disturb

What is it?

Prefer not to be bothered? With ITP you can set your phone to "Do Not Disturb".

Instructions

You can manage Do Not Disturb in 2 ways:

  1. Log into your account and select Enable Do Not Disturb found in your control panel.

        or

  2. You can dial *78 from your phone to activate Do Not Disturb and dial *79 to deactivate Do Not Disturb.

Don't want to block all your calls?
With ITP you can selectively block or unblock certain phone numbers, using our white and black lists.

White List
To manage your White List, log into your account and select White List under Do Not Disturb found in your control panel. Enter which numbers you would like to receive. All other numbers will be blocked.

Black List
To manage your Black List, log into your account and select Black List under Do Not Disturb found in your control panel. Enter which numbers you would like to block. All other numbers will be allowed through.

Note: All blocked calls can be set to either play a message "The number you have dialed is currently unavailable" or you can forward the blocked calls to voicemail.

Have your calls forwarded to another number if your line is busy.

To setup "Forward On Busy":

1. Simply log into your account.

2. Select Edit under the FORWARD control panel.

3. Enter the phone number in the "Forward To" field and save.

Music On Hold

Music on Hold

Need to place someone on hold? Let them hear some soothing music while waiting for you to get back on the line.

Advanced DND Features

What is it?

Don’t want be disturbed during your favorite weekly TV show or before a certain time in the morning? You can prevent unwanted calls based on time of day with ITP’s Advanced Do Not Disturb settings.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. Click Edit in the Do Not Disturb field then click on Advanced Schedule to setup.

Forward On No Internet

Forward On No Internet

Have your calls forwarded if your internet goes down.

To setup "Forward on No Internet":

1. Simply log into your account.

2. Select Edit under the FORWARD control panel.

3. Scroll down to FORWARD ON LOSS OF INTERNET OR POWER.

4. Set your calls to forward to your voicemail or enter a number to where you would like to receive your calls (ie… Mobile Phone).

Wakeup Call

What is it?

Need some extra help waking up in the morning? Set your ITP line to automatically ring at a designated time.

Instructions

To access your Wakeup Call feature, first login to your ITP Control Panel. On the main screen, click the button for Wakeup Call and simply fill out the information.

Black List

Black List

To manage your Black List, log into your account and select Black List under Do Not Disturb found in your control panel. Enter which numbers you would like to block. All other numbers will be allowed through.

Note: All blocked calls can be set to either play a message "The number you have dialed is currently unavailable" or you can forward the blocked calls to voicemail. 

Contact List

What is it?

Used along with ITP’s Speed Dial and Click 2 Call, your online Contact List is a convenient way to store frequently dialed or important phone numbers.

Instructions

To store phone numbers in your Contact List, login to your Control Panel and manage your phone line. Click Edit on the Contact List field to enter your numbers.

Call Recording

What is it?

Need to record an important phone call? With ITP, it’s as simple as clicking a button or dialing a code.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. Click on the Record button while a call is active on your line to start recording. If you prefer to use a code, dial *55 before the number you are dialing to start recording that phone call.

Note: Recorded calls will appear on your Control Panel under your Message Center.

White List

White List

To manage your White List, log into your account and select White List under Do Not Disturb found in your control panel. Enter which numbers you would like to receive. All other numbers will be blocked.

Note: All blocked calls can be set to either play a message "The number you have dialed is currently unavailable" or you can forward the blocked calls to voicemail. Instructions

Speed Dial

What is it?

Cut an 11 or more digit phone number down to size! Up to 100 assignable speed dial numbers.

To manage Speed Dial, login into your account.

Call Transfer

What is it?

Need to continue a conversation from your home line onto another phone? ITP’s Call Transfer allows you to take a call with you.

Instructions

To utilize Call Transfer, when a call is active on your ITP line, press the Flash button (Dial Hook Switch). When you hear the new dial tone, press *98 followed by the phone number you wish to transfer the call. For example: *9812125551212. Press the Flash button again to send the call from your ITP line to the desired number.

Advanced Black List/White List

What is it?

Much like the Black and White Lists, ITP’s Advanced settings will allow you to block or allow phone calls of your choice based on time of day.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. Click Edit in the Do Not Disturb field then Edit the List you want to activate. Click on Advanced Schedule to complete the setup.

Click 2 Call

What is it?

No more dialing wrong numbers. With Click 2 Call dial directly from your PC using MS Outlook.

Local Number Portability

What is it?

Switching your phone service to us? Keep your existing number and port it to us.

Instructions

Simply send us a completed LOA form (found in the help section) and your most recent phone bill and we take care of the rest.

Outbound Call Block

What is it?

Need to prevent certain phone numbers from being dialed from your line? No worries, with ITP’s Outbound Call Block you can control all phone calls being made from your home or office.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. Click Edit in the Outbound Control field then Edit your Black List settings. You can enter the phone numbers you wish to have call blocked.

Outlook Integration

Outlook Integration

Use your ITP line with MS Outlook by just clicking a contact’s phone number.

Call Hold

What is it?

Place a phone call on hold.

Instructions

To place someone on hold with music, press the FLASH button. Press the flash button a second time to return to the caller.

If you would like to place someone on hold without music, press the hold button on the phone.

Directory Assistance Block

What is it?

Prevent calls to Directory Assistance from being made on your line.

Instructions

To access this feature, login to your account and manage your phone number. Click Edit in the Outbound Control field then Edit your Black List settings. You can enter the phone numbers for Directory Assistance you wish block.

Instant Call Records

What is it?

The instant you hang up the phone, all the details of that call are available online for you to review.

Simply login into your account to view your online call records.

VIP Ring

What is it?

Setup distinctive rings for your friends, family or clients so you know who is calling just by the sound of the ring.
